Hi, well i lost my virginity about a month ago to my boyfriend and sex was fine until i had the contraceptive injection, then when i had that, it didn't hurt for the next two times but we have tried to have sex about three times now it has hurt me. What could i do?
Also i just don't feel turned on at the moment, any suggestions about how my boyfriend could turn me on more?
Thanks

By stating "I just don't feel turned on at the moment" are you saying that you have no libido since having had the shot? If so, this is a reported side affect of Depo Provera. Please discuss this with your doctor.

Yes! Go back to basics. Learn how to fool around and make out like people did back forty-sixty years ago sitting on the front porch swing, back seat of the car, blanket on the ground at "Inspiration Point" overlooking the lights of the city.
Understand the differences in sexual response between the genders. Your boyfriend, particularly, needs to know what emotional and physical things prepare you and then raise your interest and ardor. Very often inexperienced guys do not understand that what works for them does not work for their girlfriend.

First, make sure to use plenty of lubrication. Apply it to your vaginal opening. Apply it to the outside of his condom. (Use a regular condom, not the lubricated variety.)
Proceed slowly. There is an entire section of articles listed in the Index on how to have first time intercourse. Even though this is not your "first time", for all practical purposes it still is. Both of you need to read and discuss the information they contain.
If you had a hymen that was torn in the initial attempt, has the membrane had time to heal? If so, and the discomfort continues, better me thinks to see your doctor and get checked out.
One of the more common side effects of depo is reduced libido. This may be related. Depo is in your system and you now wait it out and have a looooong discussion with your doctor about your alternatives for contraception.
