Define "out of control." You sound pretty normal to me. I find women over 30, over 25 in some cases, much more enjoyable sexually because they are just so much easier to work with. Emphasis on with.

Well, I suppose that as usual you are basing this on your professional knowledge and awareness of research. However, I can say doc that I am more keen on sex now in my golden years and I think probably more skilled than when I was 19.

Any ideas what might cause a sudden and dramatic increase in a woman's sex drive? We're in our 50's, married 30+ years and in the last week or so she wants it at least twice a day! She also wants it rough, wants to be submissive.

That may seem great to some of you but, come on, I'm 54 and can't do that anymore. I hate to disappoint her so I try. She's getting her fun, but I can't (don't really want to) always participate fully.

No major changes in her health that I know of. No new meds, she's not quite menopausal. Any medical conditions that might cause this?

As the level of estrogen decreases faster than the level of testosterone, the relative balance between the two changes and her sex drive ramps up, Up, & UP!!
