my girlfriend and i have been having sex for a while now and we try to do it everytime we get a chance. we had a chance tonight but shes got a head cold and i was wondering if having sex would make the cold wose or what? i've heard that it actually helps and i've heard it doesnt...whats your opinion??

The only thing my guy has given me is a partial chest cold. He was getting over it and whatever was left inside of him, he gave to me.
Other than that, we've never passed anything back in forth... whether it be colds, light or heavy, or sore throats are anything. I guess we're just lucky. lol.
i dont like having sex when i feel poorly, i generally just want lots of cuddles. plus i dont want viral things (like throat infection) being spread back and forth between me and my bf, so we try to limit our kissing.... and fail miserably

I'm not sure it would affect it any. I don't really think it could make it worse so I'm not really sure it could make it better.
The last time me and my guy got together he was getting over a bad cold and I sure didn't catch anything from him so yea, I don't think it could get worse really and since it couldn't do that, I'm not sure it'd help any.
I know sex can help with headaches (and cramps for that matter) but with a head cold, I don't really see how.
I am not sure the effect SEX has on a cold. When i exercise with a cold, it usually gets a little bit better, so that might be why you heard that it can get better from sex.
