[FONT="Tahoma"][SIZE="2"][COLOR="DarkOrchid"][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT] Hey everyone, I had a quick question. I just went through some treatments for pre-cancerous cell growth on my cervix and I was told that I can't use tampons or have sex for at least 5 to 6 weeks. It's been 4 weeks and I go back to my doctor next week for a check up. They're going to check and see how I've healed. Well I just had a question. I was just wondering if anyone had an ideas on how to get back into using tampons and having sex. I'm scared to death to do anything like that because I'm afraid it'll hurt. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great! Thanks so much!

I don't see why you would have an issue. I had scar tissue removed back in mid March and my doctor said no tampons for the next cycle. I didn't wear any and then I had sex in the latter part of April with no problem. And on my next cycle I was using tampons again. No problem there either. And I'm a person that previously had issue with sex and still do from time to time for being narrow.
If you're that scared about it, talk to your doctor about it. They know your area down there better than we do. And, it never hurts to ask them anyways, regardless of how embarassing it may be. They've heard it all by now anyways. lol.
