In Wednesday's paper is a report of a Southern California woman who is now behind bars after she reportedly poisoned her husband on 7/11, cut off his penis and got rid of the evidence by placing it in a garbage disposal! "because he 'deserved it'".
The wife, 48, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated mayhem, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon {knife) intent to commit a felony, poisoning and spousal abuse.

He wanted a divorce, she got mad and drugged him. He laid down because he wasn't "feeling well" and she chopped it off, threw it in the garbage disposal and turned it on. He "deserved" it for being a cheater.
I just enjoy all the female patrons at my gym who think its "funny" and are cheering for her. Somehow this is a "score one for the ladies" event down here.
for people like that ducy it should be equal treatment then. if they think it is ok for a man's penis to be cut off for being a cheater, then they must consider if it is okay for a woman who is a cheater to have a knife shoved up their vagina. they probably wont be laughing then.
i think men in this situation and also transgenders (female to male) should be the first human recipients of these new "stem cell organs" that they grow in the lab. why not get a brand new penis rather than reattaching the one that was in the garbage disposal?

I read the story here in Australia,and I think that it is disgusting what that woman did to her husband.No man deserves to have his penis severed like that and thrown in the garbage like a piece of trash.I do remember the case of John Wayne Bobbit and that sickened me too. Whether the husband is a cheater or not does not excuse the wifes actions in these cases.My husband never physically cheated on me with another woman,but he did sexually molest our daughter and allow our sons to watch porn.He also abused me and treated me like a sex object.I don't condone my husbands actions, but never did I want to inflict such horrendous bodily harm on him.I did kick him out of the house however and gain full custody of our children through the court system.There are other more humane methods of gaining revenge.I am now in a relationship with another man without my husbands knowledge (it's none of his business anyway).And I am also going to serve the divorce papers on my husband without even letting him know that I am ending our 18 year marriage of which 10 of them have been spent living separate lives.

Here there is a necessity to reconstruct the entire organ. Not really possible. In female to male sex changes, an artificial penis is constructed that is always in the semi-erect state. The same is the only thing possible her. The reconnection of the nerves and, even, blood vessels is beyond our capacity right now - and may always be. Even if it were available for reattachment, function would be questionable. This guy is left with a stub and, with proper stimulation, ejaculation is possible. He will still be making sperm and it would be available to become a father. Rather limited sex life but better than the possible mess from reconstruction.
Brandye have you heard of this new regenative medicine where make organs with stem cells? They have been successful with rabbits mating and becoming pregnant. I beileve wake forest is the one achieving most of the work towards this science. It should help with long organ donor lists.
