thats just odd to me. i mean a parent should want their child to be as safe as possible. the mom trusts her judgement? i mean what does a 16 yr old know?

yeah i agree they make things a lot less messy. my b/f rarely cums inside me. he usually prefers to do it on my stomach, chest, etc. but on the occasion he does like to cum inside me its just weird sometimes. you are all drippy for like hours. i have to keep changing my underwear or put on a pantyliner. its kind of gross really when you think about it LOL.

Just curious though? Her mom told you directly that you could have sex with her daughter without a condom. That worries me. Using both a condom and the pill will be better than just one of them. And accidents do happen and the costs to raise a child are not cheap and it changes your life forever. Trust me you don't want any regrets at this age you should be enjoying life. Now I'm not saying don't have sex I'm just saying be aware of all that comes along with it.

anyways yeah the pill is like 97-99% effective "i think" when taken correctly.
make sure she is always taking her pill on time and not missing any. they also say to use a back up method the first month. i did the first 3 after i started...lol... just to make sure.

What is the big deal with a condom. They make them very thin and now some even warm up.

I couldn't go on the pill after my daughter was born and there was no way I was going to do that again so we used condoms for five years until we got insurance and hubby could be snipped.

As long as there is natural wetness or some kind of condom safe lube its no biggie at all. Oh sure hubby bitched from time to time. But for me I liked it. No mess for me and all for him.  

You're right. MOST of the time nothing happens. At sixteen do you want to bet on MOST OF THE TIME? A gamble that may cost you the next eighteen years of your life?

I just know if it were I, I'd want all the protection I could get. THEN if something happened, at least I'd done my best to prevent it.

And no, two virgins shouldn't have to worry about STDs. But I'm a little cynical in that department. When you talk about STDs you aren't necessarily talking about something you can clear up with a prescription. Some are incurable and SOME are deadly. It's enough for me to take a little precaution.

Anomynous, are you aware that the pill is NOT 100% effective? Check out any of the statistics. You can still get pregnant on the pill.

And I know you say she's a virgin, but the pill doesn't do anything to stop STDs. It's your life and no one can MAKE you do anything. I'd just hate for you to back later with, "Oh my God, we think she's pregnant..." or "What does it mean if it burns when you urinate?".

An ounce of prevention is more than worth tons of fear and agony. But your call...
