hello, i have like red blotches around my pubic area about the size of a 10 pence i have about 4 of them im 17 now and going to book into the doctors. Just a quick quistion when i ring up do i have to mention that its a sexual problem or just say can i see a doctor ?? thanks and im from the united kingdom if that helps

Seeing a doctor
You simply tell the receptionist that you wish to see a doctor regarding red spots. She may simply schedule you or have a nurse ask a few questions. Unless you suspect an STD, sex is irrelevant.

"Any doctor?" Do you mean male or female? Do you mean a G.P. or a specialist?
See your local family doctor or G.P. In the unlikely event you need a specialist, one will be referred to you.
In the NHS the GP is the first line of contact for you. Start there. I doubt that you will be referred to a consultant.
