I know this is a little bit silly but I'm scared of going to the gyno. I know I have to go since I'm 19. I'm scared it will hurt, that the gyn is gonna be rough. I know a lot of them are. I'm even scared he won't even be able to insert the speculum in me since I will be real tight. How do I deal with that ? I'm really scared it will hurt. I'm a virgin but the way so I'm scared even more.

You need your hand held when visiting the dentist too, I'll bet.
The ONLY way to conquer fear is to face up to it!
So just go and do it.
I'd rather go to the gyno than the dentist lol
It's not that bad. I went to a female DR, just bc I thought I would feel more comfortable.

just think. you are not the only girl in the world going to one. and others go regularly. There is at least 1 woman in the world at the gyno every hour. Just think, it was your turn in that hour and you have to go..
There are choices.
You don't go, which could be fatal if you have something you dont know about.
You do go, get everything sorted.
Just see one and relax.. it will be fine
you could ask your friends/ family members about a 'nice' gyno. someone may be able to recommend a doc who's understanding and comforting especially to women who are worried about the exam. when you do go, make sure u explain to her first that youre nervous about it and you'd like her to be careful. a lady doc would probably be better, since, well, she's more likely to understand. she'd have had her first gyno exam sometime too.
