I know this has been previously posted but I am just wondering if anyone has had this problem. I have just purchased rubber dildo and it really burns everytime I use it. I have tried washing it with differant soaps and everything but it still seems to burn. No I am not allergic to it nor is it to big. Any suggestions would be great.
thanks

Use a condom on it? Or more lube.
Does it burn after you have washed it? It could be the soap, or the lube you are using. Have you touched it against any other exposed skin and felt the same thing?
As above, try it with your normal condom brand and something more neutral like KY. I'd rather purchase another one and ditch the other :)
Hi,
The problem could also be that the toy is made of latex which a lot of people have reactions to and don't even really know it. If you use latex condoms with no problems, then you are probably not allergic, but that could be the case. Also LOTS of rubber toys are made of all kinds of weird materials that you could be having a reaction to. Sex toys are not a regulated industry, so you often can't be sure what is in a toy. If you try a good lube and condoms on the toy and it still burns, ditch the toy and get something that is 100 silicone, hard plastic, glass or metal. Those are the most body-safe materials.

I would try putting a condom on it. If you find that you're allergic to latex, use a polyurethane condom on it.
I have the same problem with just about any jelly/rubber toy. There are so many blends of stuff in them that who knows what is really inside? If you get something 100% silicone, you won't have that problem. I switched and toys have been much more fun!
Use a condom or switch to silicone. Silicone is THE BEST!
Must use silicone.
Do the smell test on the toy. If it stinks don't stick it in your pink.
Rubber and Jelly toys all stink.
It is smooth and clean. I am planing to get one. I feel burns with latex toys too.
I am planning to get this one (19.99$) only. I found it initially from amazon, but it sold out over there, I just find it afterwards on google. FYI only.

Does it hurt burn because of the rubbing or because of the rubber itself? Some lubricant or a condom could help.

Ha - I love that.
Try this Pink Jelly Vibrator at http://www.biggreenweenie.com/vibrating_massagers/PD1202-11.html
I had the same issue a few years ago. My toy go a very chemical smell, and when I used it , it really burned. It also had taken on an oily sheen. I never use oil based lube, so I found that strange. At first I thought I didn't rinse all the cleaner off from it's last use, so I re washed it, and let it air dry, and put in away. It didn't change. I threw it away after my second try getting rid of the smell and burn. I am not sure what made it go so wired.
How do you store the jelly toy? I think that storage may have played a part. I used to keep it in a wooden drawer, some of the chemicals in the wood may have played a part. I had also at one point wrapped it is plastic wrap to help keep it clean between uses.
I stay away from jelly toy now. Hope some of this info may be helpful. :)
I know exactly what you mean. It does the same to me, even when I just insert it slowly.
I only use Glass and Metal now.
Silicone works but still does not feel right or correct (I think I enjoy solid toys most)
