I believe romance is experienced in the moment it's a reflection; meaning I cannot say what is the most romantic thing that could happen now, rather it was being suprised by what was unraveling at the time, the unexpected. Someone asking me to marry them under the Macy's fireworks was romantic b/c we were enjoying the moment. What's a future romantic experience? Walking on a beach somewhere warm w/someone I care about and the evening is perfect...but will it be? Don't know not there yet!

an idea is too just spend the day ect with her. then when she goes to the toilet or whatever sneak a little note in her purse saying i love you. and what a good day you've had.

then when she's left you send her a text saying look in your purse. she'll love it. but theyres many places you can leave notes. under her pillow ect ect. even if it makes you sick what you write.:)

I had an ex that was VERY romantic. Two things he did that come to mind...

Once in a while he would rent the nicest suite available at a local hotel for us to spend the weekend in. He would wine and dine me with a fancy dinner, then we would go back to the room where he would have lots of champagne and a jacuzzi bubblebath waiting.

One weekend he rented a cabin in the woods as a surprise. He was out all day planning everything. Before he came to pick me up, a huge boquet of flowers arrived with a card hinting for me to get ready to leave.

He showed up shortly after the flowers arrived, an drove me for 2 hours to the cabin. When we got close, he blindfolded me and walked me up to the porch. He took off the blindfold, and there we were in the woods...I had NO IDEA where I was!

He took me inside and there he had tons of flowers, champagne, bubblebath for the jacuzzi, cake, chocolate syrup, a warm fire going, a featherbed in the loft..etc, etc, etc.

We spent the weekend horseback riding and having great sex..he also rented a video camera ;)

I wish more men were that romantic. Biggest turn-on EVER.

For me, example of how my fiance makes me feel loved.

After getting dressed in the morning or before leaving the house, he will straighten and smooth out my clothes/coat.

Doing things to make me laugh when I feel bad.

Will give the occasional rose for no particular occassion. Maybe cliche, but still appreciated. And sweet things to eat.

We don't have intercourse before marriage, but what we do, he always makes sure I like. I found this rare virgin creature in Morocco, it is all new and everything he knows about this kind of physical intimacy is from me.

That he waited and I get all his firsts. Even first kisses.
