So today he bought some condoms, Ultra Ribbed, we have yet to try them and will tomorrow.
I was just wondering what the difference is, does it feel better?
He told me he bought them because he thought I'd like them.

I notice no difference between ribbed and normal condoms, neither did my gf.. They were no more expensive than the normal ones though.
I have never noticed any difference among condoms from my, female, side. Except that poly is less abrasive than latex when you have a sex marathon.
Same here, my g/f says she doesnt notice a difference. Go for what feels the best for you and use ur angles and clit stimulation to please her more.
I've not noticed any difference, (I'm a guy). While I didn't ask my girlfriend if they felt any better, she orgasms no quicker with them. From my experience, it's just a gimmick.

Cost greatly depends on where you buy them from. I've bought condoms at a drug store10 for $15. Then gone to Wal*Mart and bought the same exact brand and make of 36 condoms for $12.
Well he did go to the drug store, closer to his home.

I do notice a difference with ribbed condoms, but even more so with the thinner condoms. It really depends on your sensitivity and your body and all of that. I find the ribbed ones more exciting. That's just me, though.

OK here is my take personal experience and taking to my GF, the ripped condoms provide for more sensation than the regular thickness condoms. However that being said we recently tried a "Sheer-lon" or something like that and it provided for an amazing sensation for both of us. She remarked about feeling various portions of me that she never felt before. So I would think of it more as a "natural-ribbed" which is better than tiny artificial ribbed.
And while on the topic of condoms I'll pass along what else I have learned, as with the above statements these are from my experience, you mileage may vary and this information is worth what you paid for it.
"Studded" condoms we noticed not appreciable difference over regular, As for the spermicidal condoms they caused mild numbness in her and severe numbness in me, to the point that the only way I knew I was in was to thrust very deep and get a warm sensation on the base of my penis. Needless to say I wasn't able to cum during the 2 times we used them.
Personally, I've never noticed much of a difference with ribbed condoms. I do have a preference, though, for condoms that are made larger at the tip. That's probably because they fit more loosely and allow a bit more friction.
cyclefreak, I have used them. My reason, as a guy, normal condoms dont do it for me.. I use them and in the middle of sex I start to lose my hardon. So, I use them to help keep me up..
