i have a question about my g/f. sometimes when i am stimulating her clitoris, she has the sensation that she is almost going to orgasm, but just cant get over "the edge". have any other women experienced this? its not a big problem, we have sex usually about twice a day and she usually oragasms at least once a day(always with clitoral stimulation). its only about once or twice or twice a week this occurs. just curious to know if this is common or because maybe i just wasn't doing the right thing that day? new to the site too, good stuff in here...

I'd say this is pretty common. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort and concentration to get over the "edge," but it still feels good. Some days I don't have enough energy or concentration to orgasm but it's still satisfying.
An orgasm once a day? And you want more? Over stimulation is a possible issue.
Women are lucky in that we can thoroughly enjoy sex without orgasm. Sometimes we simply want the the pleasure of a penis in us without necessarily the extra effort that you are describing. You two need to talk about this because her orgasm is for her pleasure, not yours.
Always with clitoral eh? Well, then what more could you expect. Women have 4 hot spots not just the one. If you over-stimulate the one and neglect the other three you can expect this "not going to happen" response from time to time.
