Question on Sexual Public Dancing

Ok I am new to the "nightclub" scene. To what extend does the law allow "sexual public dancing". Obviously having straight-on public sex is illegal (right?) but what if a guy puts his hand under a girl skirt and starts feelin her (short or long period of time) or if he puts his hand under the girls shirt/bra? [assumin the girl is okay with it] would a guy get kicked out, arrested? i dont know thats why im askin. btw. im in california.

I'm in California, also, and am wondering where these nightclubs are. You've succeeded in reaching the limit of my experience. I never was a club or bar person. All of my dancing is done in Ballrooms and while there may be a very rare case of some low-life trying to cop a feel, or making a crude remark, all is above board.

I have two answers for you, primarily based upon common sense and decency. First, if you are considering feeling a girl up (or down), consider the person. Is she a stranger or someone you know very well? Either way, while such actions may be perceived as cute and fun for you, it most likely will be embarrassing or an invasion of space by the woman. Second, if such clubs exist in which there is a flagrant lack of inhibitions, then perhaps you should watch what others do to learn if such sexual innuendos take place.

Yes or no--WHY? I know, it's part of being young, carefree, and sewing your wild oats, yet why behave in such a manner? OK, I'll step off my soapbox....

Well maybe its with his S/O? My partner and I once talked about doing a role play. We would go to a bar, and pretend we didn't know each other. He'd try and pick me up, and we'd flirt and do what most random people do when they first meet, dancing, few drinks, maybe some teasing like above (maybe less direct I guess), then go back to our house for the main event. :p

In my days of bars & clubbing...it was dancing not grinding! Especially w/a stranger and in public!

Don't forget not understanding the terms in which you describe us by.

Double negative? I believe his point was; not to be lewd in public since its not becoming of anyone.

A bit of a misunderstanding.

I should've hightlighted "sewing your wild oats". Its a phrase I'm not familiar with and I'm pointing out that past metaphors, symbols and phrases are lost to younger generations.

Sewing your wild oats means playing around carefully & with tact. It means you are young, have fun! Just act appropriate in public---as the OP said in one post dancing and putting your hand up each woman's skirt! LOL!

Damned---I guess I AM getting old!

"Sewing your wild oats", loosely translated by us ol' folks, refers to those years roughly between 18 and 25 when a young man leaves home and ventures out on his own for the first time and is basically footloose and fancy-free and somewhat carefree in his behavior and actions as he explores the world, new people, himself, and discovers who he really is.

I guess we ARE ol' folk! LOL! I do listen to the younger, there is so much to learn from them! In ways we grew up in an innocent society---no real STD's, you could boff anyone without concern. The major worry was pregnancy; not HIV, HPV, or HSV. No gangs, etc.

Is that what they used to call it back then? Kidding.
You aren't old; 41 is but a number. How together you are is what really counts, and you aren't continously complaining about how things used to be cheaper which says a lot.

The price of freedom without the people taking responsibility.
Although I must wonder if either there are more issues today or if openness to sex was less than it is now.

Clarifications

> I guess we ARE ol' folk!

Na, like I said yesterday, Sera,--you're becoming better and better.

> The major worry was pregnancy; not HIV, HPV, or HSV.

Just creepy crawly itchy CRABS! (or so I've read.)

Nope not complaining about the price of stuff! Boffing? Just a term for ... well you know!

We we not as open for getting info about sex but really diseases when I was 14-18 were nearly non-existent. Crabs? Yeap that was about the greatest STD risk! We were having it though and yes at young ages! And with various partners...adapting over the years mostly where I turned in my late 28-30's was when diseases appeared rampant. Yes, they were there earlier but not so prevalent. When I was about 21 was when HIV really came around as a IV drug users and gay (bi) mans issue in health care...in the straight population (not in the group above) the greatest risk then was through blood transfusions. And that was such an anomaly since they did not screen the blood back then.
