I'll just add to demonbuttercup. You CAN'T control the response, but you can limit the damage. Jockey style underwear can help. So can making sure Jr. is pointing up or down. If all else fails a long tee shirt...lol.
as many people will tell you its all a part of being a teenager in puberty.
i don't know how old your friend is but when a guy is going through puberty and hormones are raging there really isn't much you can do.
like they say, even a slight breeze can bring on an erection lol.
