I feel my sperm looks normal when I masturbate or cum during sex and it seems like its the normal amount. However, I want to know if there is any way besides visiting the doctor to find out if I am sterile? Probably not, but I just want to know.
Plus I want to know what different factors can cause a man to go sterile? For example, would chronic masturbation be something that could cause a man to go sterile? Years ago, I masturbated alot, when I had a pornography addiction. Sometimes, I would masturbate 3 to 4 times a day, and to the point where I had nothing come out during the orgasm. Now, I cum a few times a week, whether its thru sex or masturbation, but no where close to how much I used to do back then.
I'm just curious because I know the girl I am with is the one I will be with for the rest of my life and I want to have kids with her someday, but I dont want to get to that point to realise it wont happen.
You cannot see your sperm, you can see your cum. Only a doctor can test for sterility (a sperm count). Reasons for being sterile other then a vasectomy; congenital, medications (i.e. DES used years ago by women while pregnant), or trauma. Masterbation will have no effect on sterility; otherwise, many more people would not have kids. I would not concern yourself w/this matter at this time.
If you have a 600x microscope and the proper dye, you can look at a drop of your semen and actually count your sperm. Otherwise, your doctor can have a sperm count done.
