Hi everyone -
I am new to this forum and I hope that I have posted this question in the correct spot.
While I am not new to sex, I am new to experimenting with rear-entry positions (vaginal only). Here's the situation:
My boyfriend and I attempted it on one occasion so far, but we were unsuccessful. I don't know if the problem is him, me or both. He is not the largest guy, but on the other hand, he was unable to penetrate from behind. It seemed like it was impossible to enter me from that direction.
Is it possible that I am not 'anatomically correct' for that kind of position?
I hope that isn't the case, because I really want to try that position and I am desperately worried that something is wrong with me. :(
If someone can please help me with this issue and provide some information or suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much for reading.

I'm not certain what to suggest or recommend. Have you looked at the various illustrated sexual positions depicted on the sites home page?

Scroll down to the Rear Entry info.
Lubricant, the correct arrangement of the labia, the correct height of her vis-a-vis him - matching thigh lengths makes it easier, whether her thighs are forward or back - there are lots of "little things" that go into each of the various positions. Experiment to find what works!
BTW there is no such thing as "not being anatomically correct".
Also, have to adjust your hips/and the angle.
Like it feels different if you are on all fours as opposed to resting your head on a pillow...also try leaning up more like you are squatting instead of on all fours. Tilt your hips in different angles. Some people have to try all these variations to see which angle works for them.
Be prepared for queefs...fanny farts...whatever you want to call them. My vagina will alway expel air in this position b/c my butt is up in the air :) lol
Yea...so I found out never go on the boards before bed....cuz I had a dream about this post...so yea its more than likely height difference...or even just the angle. I mean if my girlfriend sits on a counter and I try to enter I cant cuz her pubic bone basically closes her off...so try adjusting your hips like demon suggested...
There are all kinds of variations. Just experiment! I like experimenting! Betcha most guys like to experiment as well!
Thanks to all for your responses. I feel better now and realize that angling and maneuvering are probably what we need to experiment with.
And yes - I know guys like to try new things, so we'll try to have some fun with it!
Thanks again! :)
A trick that I do in association with getting the correct angle is finger her a bit when shes in position, that way I know the angle that her vagina is at and exactly where it is, and also it helps open it up a bit ready for me. Try getting your bf to do that.

I often do this too. It can help. I usually find that penetration is easier in this position than in some of the others.
My bf is almost a foot taller than me and doggy style is one of our favorite positions, so I don't think it is height. What do you mean he couldn't enter you? Was he having trouble finding the vaginal opening? If that's the case, can't you just reach down and position him correctly? Otherwise, lube will help him to be able to slide in with greater ease. Are you doing doggy style (on all fours) or more of a laying down rear-entry?
I like a little guidance myself, a few strokes before entering makes it much more intimate. As far as not finding the right hole....he has better odds than a Let's Make A Deal contestant.
Browneyed - it is more length of thigh than actual height. The longer your thighs are relative to his then the further you have to spread you knees for him to comfortably enter you.
This position rarely if ever works if his erection is less than rock solid though.
In that case, reach back and help him in.

Not so, atomic, I've proved it!
