Hi all,
First time poster, please be gentle. I was just curious for the guys out there..what are the ages of those of you out there taking meds for erectile dysfunction? I'm having issues at 33 and want to help improve my partner and I's sex life, but don't really want to start taking meds this early either.
Thanks in advance!

Most begin beyond 40 and the older they get, the more common the use is. You will not develop a dependency. In fact, in some men the medication becomes less needed as they develop confidence that everything will work. These drugs are not to be played with - if you do not need it it does no good - but if it helps, use it. Talk to your doctor and ensure that you will have no interactions with other drugs or current medical conditions. Read the potential side-effects and if you notice any, get to an ER or your doctor. Generally, they are rare.
Well, Brandye, since you're the only one who responded and seem to know what you're talking about I guess I'll ask you another question. They say the Viagra works for up to 4 hours. So if I take one, have an orgasm, and then a half hour later my girlfriend once to go again and gets me aroused, the viagra will still help out this second time around as well?
Thanks,

The Viagra is still in your system and will be doing its job. The ability to repeat is more dependent upon other factors such as the regeneration of semen and the condition of the other muscles involved. As men age, the recovery time increases and the second (or third) time takes longer. Not because the viagra has worn off; because the body is wearing out.
