in any case what needs to be understood is that to my unerstanding there is a thick muscle that seperates the vagina from the anus... and while you could make some superficial tears, you could not actually tear a hole right thru... that is why its essential to go very slow, starting with just relaxing and touching the anus with a finger and lots of lube before even thinking about penetration (with a condom!).... of course anyone wth such a basic question about anal sex should really go read up much more info...

If a woman has unusual difficulty during childbirth, and there is no medical assistance available to her, she may end up with what is called a fistula.
Without medical attention for that condition (horribly common in impoverished third world countries), the surviving woman may have feces enter her vagina from her rectum, because the separating wall has been damaged. These poor women usually are then shunned by their husbands and families and live lives of isolation and shame.:(
