Hey y'all, I'm new to the board and just had a question about what women think about acne on a guy's back. Obviously I know that it is better to not have it, but I'm just curious if it would be a big deal to a girl if they discovered a new guy they were with had acne all over his back. I ask because this I have just started to get zits on my back (nothing TERRIBLE, but still noticeable), and recently I was with a girl and she started to put her hands up and down my back and she obviously felt the zits, then kept her hands to herself the rest of the time; then the next day she wanted to have much less to do with me. So should I consider things hopeless until I get rid of the backne or what?

I really don't think that there is a single person who has never has or will never have pimples. I guess it just depends on how much there is at once. Everyone gets a few pimples on parts of their body other than their face here and there. I don't think it should hold you back, but if she doesn't like it then why bother with the girl to begin with? You have no reason to consider anything hopeless, it was one girl. No harm in trying again. Plus it doesn't seem that you were really looking for a relationship with this girl anyway, just someone to have a little fun with.

We were friends first for awhile then it all went south; but that story is an entirely different post.
SOmething you can use that would help out the backne is Neutrogena Body scrub. It has salyicic acid which should help clear up your skin.
just think of it this way, if she couldn't look past something that is only cosmetically temporary, what would she do when a big issue came into the relationship?

I also get it everyonce in a long while from my hair. Some girls can be very insecure. I personally wouldn't mind it, however out of concern and curiosity I would bring it up and question if you have tried anything for it. If it's not that noticeable or anything I wouldn't worry about it.
Acne can be gross, but after the initial shock of realizing that you have it, this girl should accept it and hey, maybe she doesn't want to touch your back again. But, if she likes you, she won't stop having feelings for you because of your acne. She definitely is NOT worth it if she changes the way she feels because of a few pimples.
Often times, when I care alot about someone, I seem to be blinded and forget their physical falts, I don't notice acne, or scars anymore.
this isnt an opinion on your situation but just a suggestion. use toothpaste on your acne. itll be gone in a day or two. no joke, it really works!
Hey I had a boyfriend who had it very badly, he was so insecure about it he wouldnt take his shirt off during sex. The acne on his back didnt bother me...the greatfuldead t-shirt I had to look at while riding him did!
