For The Purpose of Debate-Starbucks Cup Quotes

Some of the quotes are too religious and one, Baylor University 'pulled the cups' because of religious purposes:

"Some mention 'faith in the human spirit,' but none is overtly religious. Last month, Baylor University pulled Starbucks cups after objections to a quote from writer Armistead Maupin saying that 'life is too damn short' to hide being gay."

Also some companies are placing Bible quotes on burger wrappings to 'do the right thing'; I guess in thier opinion it is the right thing and I will defend that but pushing quotes from your religion on others (like the time when a girl tried to save me by quoting Revelations and screaming 'God save this child!', that was an insult to me and the ironic thing is I was a year older than her) I personally think this is too far:

"In-N-Out Burger, the California-based fast-food chain, has included tiny notations for Bible verses in some of its burger and drink packaging since Richard Snyder, son of the founders, called for it in 1987. "He told me, 'It's just something I want to do,' " company spokesman Carl Van Fleet says."

And I have to add this for the heck of it, who names a restraunt "In-N-Out Burger"? That name puts certain images involving what happens after you eat in my head, how appetizing...

I may seem on the fence because I am, I think that famous quotes should be allowed but religious quotes are too far.

And here is another that just gets on my last nerve:

"Americans are more accepting of overt religiosity these days, and corporations are good at figuring out how to do it with a light touch, one that's not going to scare off unbelievers,"

'Unbelievers' first of all doesn't sound as if it is correct in that context--or even our language for that matter and I am a grammatical nit-picker. Second, if you change it to something that makes sense and that I personally think he ment, 'nonbelievers', I think that that makes it sound as if he is publicly announcing his dissatisfaction with the Atheists and the...Oh it is what you call those who are basically on the fence about religion...

Wow guys I didn't realize this would cause so much activity slow down on the replies.
