Don't know if I was missed by nature on the first go around or if my pubic hair genes died before puberty but I am a definate minority... I have absolutly none! Nothing not even fuzz! I used to hate it back in school when I was the brunt of lotsa jokes but now I absolutly love it!
Apparently pubic hair also serves as a visual indicator to the opposite sex that says the person is sexually mature thus able to procreate. It also traps sweat and enhances pheromone potency.

i've read in several places that the most logical purpose is that the hair traps the scent of pheremones and other stuff that is supposed to be an aphrodisiac.
