I am 17 and I have been going out with my boyfriend for about four months now. He has manually stimulated me and has never complained about my pubic hair but we have been talking about having sex for the first time and I want to get rid of all my hair but I am not sure how to go about it. I have tried shaving it off before and I really liked how I felt so smooth but the next day I came out in all these red lumps and it was really itchy and my hair began growing back in two days later! I have also tried a wax kit that I bought from the chemist but I couldnt get it to work properly and the one strip I got to work was really sore. I was just wondering if I had done something wrong shaving my hair? Or if there is any other methods to get rid of pubic hair? any help would be much appreciated thanks miss k x x x

pubic hair removal!

wax professionally my friends were very pleased with thier results once they found a decent place! I myself are contemplating it myself.
I can tell you this, whatever method you chose, DON'T use Nair lotion. Or any other hair removal cream to remove pubic hair. When it says on the box, "that it may cause discomfort or irritation." They should say that skin burns off, and you bleed! lol

Hope this will help you
take a hot bath. get a razor and shave the bits you want to in the bath, try putting your leg on the side you are doing on the edge of the bath. you don't need soap if you're in a hot bath. it may feel like you havn't got a smooth shave, like, there's stubble you haven't got, especially if you've done it more and more, but once you get out and dried you'll find it's baby smooth. trust me. i do it every day. allways works, and i have really sensitive skin
I use an eplilator or waxing, It will hurt the firsr time you do it but, the more you do it the better the results ,the lesser the pain and longer the time in between as the hair grows back finer and weaker.
I have tried several differant times to shave and until recently always end up getting the lil bumps the next day. And never get a real smooth shave. To get it started, I first trimmed with the hair trimmer, then soak in a bath for about 20 min., I rubbed some hair conditioner in first to soften the hair and skin. Then I shaved using a shave gel called Bikini Zone. (I got it for a few bucks at Walmart) and it works great. It is smooth, and I have no stuble, or bumbs the next day. I like just rubbing it myself as it is so smooth. I also use Baby powder if I don't get a chance to shave and start having my panties rub. Hope this helps.:)
