I know that my boyfriend would like for me to shave my pubic hair, even though he hasn't full-out stated it. Right now i trim, and i have tried shaving before but it seems that i never get a very close shave and i always feel prickly. I;ve read the articles about shaving bit they dont seem to help. Should I try waxing?? or what should I do?

You could continue trimming as you have been doing and wait for any comment from him. You could also take the initiative and simply matter of factly mention that this is all you are willing to do. As you have explained to us, explain to him, also.
Even if you decide long term not to trim, then this is your decision to which he has to abide.
Sure, try waxing. Also try shaving against the grain of the hair. I know you're not supposed to, but it's the only way I could ever get smooth. Be ready for some ingrown hairs.
...and some bothersome itching as stubble appears.
Also, use fresh, sharp blades, changing frequently. Do not continue to use a blade once it becomes dull!
You could use Veet hair removal cream, this is what I use and find it leaves me smooth for a couple of days the only thing is you have to be careful when using it around your genitals. If you do get it where you dont want it wash it immediately, should be ok, possibly a bit of stinging.
