Pubic hair grows just as the hair on your head does. This is why many trim it or shave the area.

It's just that no matter how much you say you aren't going to do something... things happen. I have been caught up in the moment before and things went a little far...not sex....but fingering and stuff...and yea I wasn't quite ready for it at the moment...but I thought I was.
It just sometimes you put youself in certain situations where things can happen. It's like if you made a vow to not drink or smoke weed... but you hung out w/ all your friends and they all smoked weed....its safe to say "eventually" you'll probably try it.

The standard for these convictions are VERY low, since a jury does not have to convict upon an agreed opinion, they can be split.
The fact that you, Turbo, know that it's illegal makes this situation much worse demonstrates "mens rea". Meaning; you knew better and determining culpability is easy. This situation is not a good one. Think how an ADA or the DA's office would look at the situation, they don't care you love her, that is an irrelevant point to argue.
Have you watched Dateline? What pressure do you believe these segments place on law enforcement and the punitive system? It's raises the bar and by doing such it causes scrutiny of any alleged improper acts. The end result creates the judicial system to convict based on current societal issues at hand.
The laws are intended to protect minors (those who are not the age of majority; rather are the age of minority) from being placed it situations and circumstances which can cause harm or potential sexual exploitation since they can not determine right from wrong for themselves and must rely on the legal guardian & the judicial system to makes such decisions for them. Sexual exploitation is not limited or restricted to porno or rape, it's any act deemed sexual in nature initiated or cohered by one who is the age of majority. Intent is so easy to prove legally here since what else would a 21 year old man want with (or have in common with) a 15 year old? Furthermore, this situation is not considered normal it's deviant in nature; a 15 y/o and a 16 or 17 y/o is.
As far as her parents, I said to speak to them (they should have demonstrated reasonable judgement) since they can be held on negligent behavior and your mom on contributory negligent behavior.
