Prolapse?

Hi g/f went to doctor today with a problem with peeing at all times of the day when not needing i.e leaking a lot.

Doctor said it is a possible Prolapse? but Jillian would not let him check as she wants a female doctor, so we will find out more on wednesday.

Has anybody had an similar experience and required the surgey? Any advice on if surgery is required?

Very worried and Jillian is to worried to talk about it to me till confirmed.

DiamondAFC, here's a link to the Intellihealth site for Prolapse. Generally, not a serious condition and can be treated by different methods varying by severity of the condition. Your girlfriend should see a doctor as soon as she can in the event it really is prolapse. Good luck-

hmm i was checking in my school books and it shows a prolapse of the uterus where is some cases the uterus falls and sags down into the vagina.
im not sure how that affects peeing a lot i guess it puts pressure on the bladder.
my book says that some cases the uterus can be held in place by some kind of plastic oval pessary. not quite sure what that is.
in extreme cases it calls for a hysterectomy but i think thats only when its so bad the uterus is almost outside the body.

i would just try not to worry until she gets a complete exam. it could be nothing serious maybe just a weakening of her bladder muscles and now they have medications to help w/ frequent urination and leaking.

was wondering if golden showers are good my g/f wants to give me one

If you're down with a golden shower, I guess it is... Just make sure you're not somewhere too hard to clean, and close from an actual shower or bath, because I don't see someone that just had a golden shower going and hang out with someone else, the smell would be unbearable for them.

There's more than one kind of prolapse. Uterine prolapse which can cause urinary symptoms but there is also bladder prolapse better known as cystocele when the bladder herniates or bulges into the vagina due to a weakness or defect in the vaginal wall. Depending on the size, location and degree of symptoms determines if surgery is necessary.

Or: when she's in her fertile period, that "someone else" will suddenly feel very attracted LOL! ;):):D
And perhaps the cats and dogs come chasing. No, better go for the "real" shower after the golden...

Personally I wouldn't do it at all, it doesn't turn me on the slightest, it would actually turn me off. But everyone's different right?

Everyone's allowed a fetish! I don't see harm in it. Never tried, I don't really see the fun... He's never asked, so I'm guessing it's not his cup of pee either ;)

I thought of the cats and dogs, because his cats -esp the female- responds to my fertilitycycle. She goes all wild while I'm ovulating; purring, rolling over on her back, lies close next to me and can't get enough petting. Whereas while I'm menstruating; she barely let's me pet her and walks away. No matter how much I shower and wash up, her nose knows ;):):D

Not his cup of pee... I bursted in laughs!!

I've got a female poodle, regular size (she's about two feet and a half high) and when SHE is in the few days/week before her menstruation, she doesn't get off me, I always must have all my attention directed to her, and she always comes to sleep with me and cuddles. She's so cute :D

Awwwww sweet! She is sterilized, so not much of a cycle for her I guess. To make it fair; her brother's castrated.

I've really become fond of his cats. They're both a bit shy, but really great animals. They "approved" to my presence rather quickly. When we had just started dating, both cats went nuts purring and licking his fingers (now where had those been shortly prior...:):D)

Anyways, I think I've just totally sidetracked this thread... Sorry about that people!

Don't worry about it until you see an OB/GYN and see what they say (but make sure you do)
