Programed for an Orgasm?

I'm glad I ran upon this forum. I've spent over an hour reading threads and think it's wonderful. Very full of information yet not tacky. Luv it!

Anyhow, I'm older. Almost 40 and have been married 13years (I know I should have all this down pat by now!)

I'm only able to have an orgasm one way and am worried it's the ony way I'll ever be able to have one. From the time I was a little girl about 8-10yrs (who knows) I had orgasms by lying on my stomach with one hand in a fist and the other wrapped around that one, placed on the left side of my clitoral area. By rocking or rubbing with the pressure could bring myself to an explosive orgasm. I really enjoy sex now. More so since after age 30. I thorougly enjoy oral sex from my mate and can always get close and extremly aroused, but nothing actually takes me to that edge and over except for the pressure of being on my stomach. It's the pressure on the clitoris. Not the tip but the side, massaging it like the side of a penis with pressure.

I wonder if I've "programmed" my clitoris to orgasm this way. I imagine I'm the only chick in the world who climaxes this way. :rolleyes:

And btw: I can spend forever in the tub or relaxed in my bed masterbating and although it's fun and wonderful just can't seem to get there any other way.

If yo have read around, you have undoubtedly seen my little response: 25% of women never reach orgasm; another fifty percent never reach orgasm through penile thrusting.

I do not know if you have programmed yourself or not. I know that as I get close, my masturbation technique reverts to the same over and over again. I use two fingers with one on each side. That is likely rubbing the hood up and down on the clitoris. My g/f uses three fingers - one on each side and one in the middle. When she "does me" it takes a little longer but the variation seems to have good effect. I can do it myself that way but without thinking, I rever to two fingers as the climax approaches.
