Okay so I shaved yesterday, usually i shave it close, but this time i shaved it completely off. Well this is the second time i did it, and the second time i have gotten an ingrown hairs....err 1 hair...all i have to do is pull the hair with a pair of tweezers, but i was wondering how i could avoid ingrown hairs all together. I dont mind using tweezers, but its not very appealing seeing a little scab near your penis.
Please dont say just dont shave, cuz i like the smooth feel, and my girlfriend finds it pretty arousing so ima keep doing it.

I swear by professional waxing! Never want to put a razor to the legs, arms, bikini again!
Be certain to use a good triple blade razor & one which is fresh. I used the Gillette triple one which men use for their face (My ex hated me for that). Use a good softening cream and shave against the hair pattern growth! Sometimes you have to move the angle. If you see any residue get the tweezers then and pull the remainder of the hair.
If you like the smoothness; look at a professional wax done at salons. It's easier to maintain and lasts much longer.
do it when you shower, and make sure it is the last thing you do in the shower (to give your skin time to soften)
...my guy uses a schick qattro for women (lol :) )
I find disposable razors work the best, use a fresh one every time so its sharp and wait 5-7 days between shaves. *Shrugs* Thats what works for me, but everyone gets ingrown hairs time to time, no way around it when you shave, only waxing prevents it.
I found when I used my partner's triple blade mens razor, it gave me WORSE razor burn and it wasn't a close shave  oh well...
...yeah i think ill look into waxing...i just spent the last 30 minutes trying to make sure none of the hairs grew back ingrown...very painful tweezing all the little hairs out...especially when theyve already started growing back wrong.
I use a Gillette bodygroom electric razor. And provided you're very careful when doing your scrotum (It can nick you a tiny bit) it provides excellent results - also use the shaving gel on the area too (but the sensitive skin kind)
