Hey all, I'm new to this board so...*waves*
I do have a big question I hope someone can answer for me. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years and we want to have sex but we decided to try to help prepare for it a bit (I'm a virgin) and try fingering first. When he first goes in it doesn't hurt but the farther in he goes, the more it feels like he's pushing against the walls of my vagina, or even sometimes feels like light scratching, but very painful.
I don't use tampons, never fingered myself before, but I get very nervous about it hurting just before we do anything. Could that be the cause of it hurting? Or could it be something else?
If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it!

First I suggest he cut his finger nails so he doesnt scratch at all. Second you both should work on getting warmed up before you dive into fingering, plenty of kissing and touching. He can also play some with your clit on the outside to make it feel better and get you loosened a bit. Since you are a virgin have him start with one finger, say the index and work in slowly, dont be afraid to tell him to slow or pull it out. Let him work with it till you are comfortable and have him rub your gspot which is on the upper wall say 1-2inches in. If he is unsure about it there are threads here all about the details. Dont rush anything and stretch a bit when you feel turned out for it, then you can move to two fingers and from there intercourse when you are both ready. Good luck
Thanks for the response...we actually have tried that. He plays with my clit for a long time until I tell him I'm ready to do more. He has short fingernails and listens to everything I tell him.
My only other thought I have is...when I was younger I had fallen on a swing and landed very hard in between my legs and I remember bleeding very badly. Could that possibly have been a way the hymen could break as well?
That fall could have torn the hymen but that would not explain the rest of the symptoms. Before becoming sexually active, all women should have a complete gyn exam. Time for you to do that.
