Hi im 16 and im like 6 foot 2, and i have nearlly had the chance to have sex but my problem is that im really broad and a little overweight. And im scared it would put a girl of and am trying to get rd of my so called man boobs. I am currently thinking about thinking going to doctors to try and get help to loose weight and get fit should i do this. And girls does an overweight guy put you of ? :confused:

Anyone who is overweight will benefit from losing a bit and getting fit. The bad problems are not tomorrow but years down the road. There is one way to do this: consume fewer calories than you burn. That can be done two ways: diet and/or exercise. It is better to do some of each. There is no short cut but the results are worthwhile.
I can't predict how "all" girls will react. You just need to remember that someone only going for "looks" is shallow and does not do you right. It's who you are that matters. And it is important that you feel "good" about yourself. Psychologically it has been proven that your attitude is more attractive than actual physique! Yet; that extra weight can become a matter of concern for you and your lover. FE: I am at times really concerned about my bf, as his weight is really not contributing to his health (he's way older than you). It doesn't put me of, but does concern me.
I don't know how much overweight you are? Sometimes we think way too negative of ourselves... If you're concerned, going to your doc is always a good thing. He can give you a professional opinion. You could also choose to make a quick stop at the gym. They can measure how fit you are. After that you can choose a sport. Enhance or keep that result up with any sportactivity you'd like :) The liking is important, cause that will make you go there each week! FE: I attack my abs by doing Latin bellydancing, cause those crunches are way too tedious... It's no good sport when I'm not smiling!
I think being "fit" is more important than a bit of extra weight. And being "toned" is more important to me than my weight itself. I'm a big girl and I don't mind being curvy. I don't mind that my belly isn't all the way flat. But I truly hate it when my belly starts dancing by itself ;)
wow redrose thanks so much great help to me and brandye. I weigh 16 stone but i have just signed up to football about 4 weeks ago i do training on thursday evenings and a match on sundays so that is helping me with fitness. Will a doctor help me loose weight and weigh me ever so often i have been on a diet for a max of a month then gave up at stupid hurdles i need to go somewhere, to find the will power to loose weight so if i knew i was getting weighed ever week i would put mor effort ?. Instead of putting food into your mouth, do some heavy physical work.
Young males need to burn off energy as well as aggression. For my son (a 6'6" monster) we set up a vertical 4x4 post and he practiced sword play in the backyard hacking the devil out of the post and releasing the demons inside.
Dig ditches, fell trees, move boulders, haul fishing nets, build a playhouse for the kids: whatever. Males evolved for work, not just for sport.
