Chances are no, she will not get pregnant...it's rare that a woman will ovulate during her period. Rare, but not unheard of. I would not be too awfully concerned about it, just use this as a wake up call to be careful.
No sperm does not die when it hits 02...it can live for a few hours. When a man ejaculates, sperm is exposed to oxygen and they manage to live a long time. The only thing which is supposed to die off when exposed to air is HIV.
