Just today I had sex without a condom and I am now scared that my girlfriend is pregnant.
Basically my girlfriend and I were messing around today and after a lot of foreplay; the idea of sex was tossed around, however neither of us had a condom so we just went on with the foreplay. Then she got on top of me and in the heat of the moment I slipped inside of her and we started having sex. I guess both of us were so caught up in the moment that we didn’t realize what we were doing. After we were down it hit me like a ton of bricks, and since then I have not been able to think of anything else but pregnancy.
Here is our situation though.
1) I didn't cum during sex. (prior to this I got a blowjob)
2) She is on birth control
Is there still a good chance that she is pregnant?
Also don't give me the "Wear a condom" speech, cause I am way way ahead of you. I never plan on having unprotected sex again...
What form of birth control is she on?
Ok, if she's on birth contorl and been good about it, you guys should be fine I think. If you're that worried thouugh, take a pregnancy test then about a week passed. And hopefully everything turns out fine. Just be more careful next time.
You didn't come inside of her but you can get pregnant from precum, but as you said she is on BC so that does narrow down her chances quite a bit.
But, unfortunately, anything is possible.
I've known people that used condoms and got pregnant. I've known people on the pill who got pregnant so yea, anything is possible.
I say, in a few days, if it is still bothering you, go get an early pregnancy test from the store.
If it comes out negative, breathe a bit of a sigh of relief. However, if she doesn't have her period, then go get another test.
Just don't fret over this, especially her, because that can delay her period and cause you to fret some more.
I'll only add to what's already been said that you have like 72 hours after intercourse to use "the morning after" pill. If you can get it, I'd do it just to be on the safe side.
Birth control is not 100%. But do you know that neither are condoms? You might consider adding a spermicidal gel or foam to your list of things to have handy for sex. Every prevention makes it that much safer.
