Look up the antibiotic on a website and read the information. Generally the manufacturer will list the effects on BCP's. The antibiotic CAN reduce the effectiveness of the pill, some are more likely then other's.

There is always a chance... even when you take the pill correctly and nothing is interferring w/ it.
Usually when you take antibiotics, the pharmacist will put a sticker on the bottle advising about if you are taking BC pills too. It is usually suggested to use a backup method while the antibiotics are in your system.
