OK, we are concerned about young teens on the Board. Read the news item on Sec Education for parents!! Makes us sound tame.

I can understand the concern with new, and young, posters. Especially if they are giving away medical advice.

Let me be the first to admit that I certainly do not have all the answers. I usually try to stick to topics of some familiarity, and or posts with which I'm not shy to voice my opinion.

Should there be some kind of screening that could be done for posters? I will third a concern over such young posters looking for sex advice. But at the same time I feel thats why were here. Either way I think I'll stay away from responding to those posts

I also notice some of my favorite posters are now posting less possibly due to this? Wally I love reading your posts. And what happened to Finewine and the old poster Jaybee. Those are another two I enjoyed reading.

Thanks, Poz. I don't think my level of posting has changed much... I've always tended to avoid graphic topics that were clearly posted by a teen. Since I don't know the answer to the young poster dilemma I resolve it with a conservative personal policy for several reasons. It may seem like I'm posting less, but I rather think it's case of an influx of young teens recently.

Finewine has been back and is posting. Jaybee was banned as I recall.

wouldnt you rather people under the age of consent got good advice and safe advice rather than getting pregnant, hurt or just having a bad time?

There's a point where it's just not in one's best interests to take the risk of being a part of a juvenile sexcapade. I personally watch out for postst that are written in a lot of text speak or seem too poorly written to be by consenting adults.

Yes, that is a concern that I have too. I'm rather careful about the sort of things I say in response to questions from people who are underage (as far as I can tell). Perhaps one should ask oneself whether the comment or advice that you are about to type is the sort of thing that you would say to someone if you met them in person.

From my perspective, there is NOT ONE iota of pornography on this forum or the sexinfo101 site
90% of people posting on here would NEVER ask a total stranger any of the questions. Hell they have problems asking the person they are boinking the same questions. I've been boinking my gf/bf for 5 yrs and we really can't communicate? LOL
I think this thread was inadvertently ressurrected LOL

Sorry HardNGood, I didn't realize that a simple comment could be considered pot-stirring.

I have no worries what so ever about talking to kids about sex.
No ones gonna see it, there's disclaimers on the site & it doesnt really matter.
No one's getting busted for offering advice, no one gives a ****.
Do you really think someone is going to try to hunt some of us down for talking to an underager about sex?
No, I dont think so.

Im very cofident that nothing is going to happen because of the influx in kids.
You're all paranoid.

The fact that people are even worried about this makes me want to puke over the state of our society...
