Post-Orgasmic Contraction…
I’ve read Brandye’s explanation of the physical changes experienced by the female genitalia immediately after orgasm, in the ‘G-Spot 101’ thread.
All she says seems to run consistent with my own experiences, apart from one aspect. Brandye describes how immediately after orgasm, ‘The entire body relaxes’. However, I find that, after bringing my partner to orgasm, through oral clitoral stimulation and vaginal fingering, my girl’s vaginal opening tenses up, and becomes much ‘tighter’ than it was during the stimulation. I am not describing orgasmic myotonia, this (what I am describing) occurs for a few minutes directly after orgasm, after which the opening becomes much less tense.
I have no practical need for the resolution of this question, I’m merely curious as to what is going on in my girl’s body.

Good onservation, winchester. Soome women are so sensitive that they cannot barely stand to be touched. This may show up as sensitivity in the nipples, clitoris, anus or vaginal entrance. What you are noting is an involuntary "protection" limiting further contact for a brief time. This is not present in all women to the extent you describe. It is likely the last throes of the orgasm.
In my own body, this occurs right at the end of the orgasmic contractions and then I become very receptive.
What is "immediately"? I think that we have to remember here that there is a lot of variation between individuals. I would say that during and immediately after orgasm the vagina "clenches" (it's better if there is a penis there to clench upon)--the clenching is part of the orgasm/post orgasm pleasure; sometimes it's a series of several clenching spasms, AFTER which relaxation of the vagina and the whole body occurs.

I totally agree Revirginated, I am simply questioning my own personal observations.

By this I meant immediately after orgasm, but lasting a few minutes, the vaginal opening contracts.
Brandye, that would make sense, as often after orgasm, my girl takes a ‘rest phase’ during which she is hypersensitive (or should that read hyposensitive, I never did pay attention in biology class…), to the point of discomfort. This soon wears off however…
That would be "hyper- ." Glad it is clarifying.
