What's appealing about face to face sex?

Okay, I love face to face. I've mentioned in other posts I love the folded deck chair position, viennese oyster, and deep stick. In each of these, I sometimes let my bf lean so far in that he can kiss me and I let my feet hit the wall or headboard. That leads into my question.

Guys, what attracts you to face to face sex where you're on top of the girl and she's lying on her back on the bed? What's the appeal?

For my bf, it's the eye contact, seeing my breasts bounce and up and down with each thrust, and being able to fold me over and basically do whatever with my legs that he wants.

I like to see her face. She's pretty. For all the talk about breasts and asses, at the end of the day a womans most important feature will always be her face.

There is the intimacy factor to face-to-face sex but their is also the focus on who she is and what she is feeling. The only thing I don't like about missionary is towards the end where things get pretty heated and she ends up hugging me tight. It feels fine, but I am staring point blank at the mattress for 5 mintues. I might as well be having sex with a pillow, visually speaking.

My wife loves missionary and would stick with it exclusively if it were up to her. The only thing I don't get is that she is so big on staying face to face for intimacy and closeness, but she really has to focus to orgasm and typically closes her eyes at that point. Has always seemed contradictory.

It's really a mood thing. When it's about intimacy face to face is the way to go. When it's about raw animalistic sex, then other positions may be more suited.

I doubt most men do, we are too visual. I know I don't.
