The hair you have is not "excess". It is what mature adults have. Now if you were female and had a certain genetic mutation then you'd have long silky fur all over your body and look like a yeti - now that would be considered "excess" body hair - but just normal pudbic hair - no.

Just another gender-specific cultural thing.

Okay, well that's fine, but I also have thick hair all over my butt - I'm not sure that is so normal. How do I deal with this? (It is also super thick all around the...hole)

I would have to see that. It might be hot! If not maybe go for one of the permanent hair removal techniques that people talk about. Lots of pubic hair is considered sexy, hairy buttocks might not be. Just smooth the buns off if it's really noticeable.

Am from the old school. I like hair. A real turnon to me. No shaving, but a light trimming is fine. I would say it is sacreligious for a red headed woman to shave her pubes. A red/carrot colored bush is one of nature's wonders. A very white complected woman with a dark black bush is also amazing. The white/black contrast is remarkable.

Do any of you ladies have grey pubic hair? If you do, do you all color it or just shave it or do you leave it like it is. Can I assume that if your hair on head is grey, that the hair down below is grey also? Just curious. I like a full bush of hair myself on a woman.

I was playing with my wife one night and it felt smooth all the way down. This was new for her. She shaved but always kept a landing strip above the labia. When I was feeling down her I got to her labia and still hadn't got to hair. She finally told me she had shaved it all off because she didn't like the gray hair and the way it looked. She does have the hair dyed, but not her pubic hair of course. So now she keeps it almost always smooth. I enjoy it alot and she is now used to it. If she lets it go for a long time, I know she will be shaving it all off soon without me saying anything.

I agree somewhat about red pubes being a wonder but also like it shaved its easier to eat her out
