You want to take it SLOWLY... I can't emphasize that enough. Use LOTS of lube and using one finger gradually get used to it. After you've loosened up a bit you can add another finger. And so on. You can also use a small vibrator or dildo. Just take your time and if it starts to feel uncomfortable back off for a while.

After reading this thread last night I found myself turned on by the thought of anal, which was surprising.
