Okay I have a serious question and I hope I won't get flamed for this, but anyway here it goes. I have a degree in theology and worked as a minister for about 8 years. I think the bigger question is how you and your religion view God. In Christianity, I belong to, I see God as a loving father, of which I try to be as well. Some religions view god as a policeman in the sky with a billystick waiting for every opportunity to beat you down for "trespasses". That is not loving, in my opinion. I feel God is more interested in your well-being and loving you than chastening you at every turn.

So in response to your question. What you're doing is between your wife; it's private; you're both separated by war; I say carry on. It's just one of the advantages of technology in the 21st century.
