The OP is missing the point. A

simple question like what she thinks she'd teach her kids about sex will give each of you a lot of insight on her mindset towards sex. She doesn't have to have thought about it before - the point is her response allows you to understand how she feels about sex, and the answer is probably going to be more accurate than if you asked her directly because people can be more defensive during direct sexual conversations.
