Significant Height Difference

I'm new here but I've read many threads and seen that you guys know your stuff! I have a bit of a problem and I'm hoping you'll all be able to provide some insight.

Whenever my girlfriend and I try a new position, it rarely works because we have about an 8 inch height difference. This especially becomes a problem for positions like doggie style and spooning. For doggie, we've tried her kneeling on the bed and me standing off, both kneeling on the bed, her wearing high heels; essentially everything yet we still cannot find a good way to do this! Does anyone have any ideas as to how to overcome this issue in order to really enjoy doggie style? Same goes for spooning, face to face of chest to back as we really would like to be able to add those two to our list as well. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have had this problem with my girl although admittedly there isnt such a big hieght difference. For doggy style when she is on all fours and you are kneeling get her to spread her legs apart or closer depending which height you need her or you spread your legs apart or closer until you are both at the same height.

Ummmmm..........NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Do you realize that the positions used in pornography are for looks and camera angle access to specific body parts? They aren't ideal to get the guy or girl off, but to look sexy and let the camera see the penis and vagina moving - something that most positions designed for pleasure don't allow.

If you don't mind leaving the bedroom once in a while, try standing behind her with her draped, face down, over the arm of the sofa.

I feel your pain. I'm 6'3" and the tallest girl I've been with was 5'4", the shortest a whopping 4'11".

Some positions just aren't possible without some slight variations. For standing positions, you'll have to squat a little, which can be strenuous. As for doggy, you can try putting pillows under her knees.

Most positions should still be possible, although some might not be as comfortable. There's no need to worry, though, there are endless possibilities in the bedroom. Check the Sex Positions Guide for ideas. It's a great guide with lot's of good ideas, and don't be afraid to put your own spin on them.

You may have to adjust what you use, a bed may not work as well as a table, or use pillows to help prop her up. Experiment and find what works, There is always an answer somewhere.

People - you can adjust the height of the bed (put it up on blocks if you have to) and that sends a much better message to those short girls than this "adjusting the girl" that you have been doing.

Raising the bed wouldn't help for positions actually on the bed, EEK. We're not trying to send a sort of message saying that it's the girl's fault these positions need slight adjustments, we're saying that the couple might have to make slight adjustments to make the position work for the couple.

If he's standing up at the end or side of the bed, then missionary and from behind will not require any 'girl adjustment' at all if the bed has been set at the correct level. Cunnilingus and fellation will also be more comfortable done this way. Female superior doesn't require any height adjustments at all since she's o top. So, yo can see that fixing the bed up correctly erases most if not all of your difficulties.
