Question about gags

As I've mentioned before .. the wife and I have been exploring mild bondage/bdsm. One quick issue as we are feeling are way through this - she says she likes the sensation of being gagged BUT, she hates the drool.

Are there gags out there that anyone knows produces little to no drool. I'm thinking of buying her a penis gag - but they aren't cheap, anyone have experience with those/drooling?

Thanks in advance.

What kind of gag are you using now that makes her drool? Is it pizza flavored? Seriously I have never known a gag to make anyone drool.
Are you using a ball gag? I can see how that might make swallowing hard for some people. I know a submissive who has been subjected to the penis gag you mention. She says that it's just long enough to hit her gag point. That might be something to consider. I use a bit gag and have never seen any drooling after the gag is on. Maybe because I make bit gags from cotton rope which absorbent. You could also try what is called an OTM gag which is the scarf/handkerchief sort of gag usually used in abduction scenes.

Actually we are using a ball gag with holes in it (kind of like a wiffle ball), so the drool factor is pretty big. I've personally also used a traditional ball gag and there (just a red rubber ball) without holes, and still - you do drool, not as much .. but you do.

Thanks for the rope/bit gag suggestion - if there is no drool .. that could be the way to go.

Well as I said cotton rope might be absorbent in case there is drool. Someone pointed out in a class I was teaching once that you should not use dyed rope in someone's mouth - it had never occurred to me to use any other than plain white cotton on my rope gags, but I suppose some people might have tried it with dyed rope.

To make this bit gag you follow the same procedure as you would to make a rope carrying handle. Would you like me to send you a tutorial?

the drooling isn't caused by the gag but the inability to swallow, this would probable be overcome by a smaller gag and practice swallowing with it in

I was into mild s & m years ago and the easiest thing I found to use would be something fabric typically a clean pair of knickers. To get rid of the taste of any detergent of conditioner I'd typically rinse them a couple of times in water after they came out of the machine.

There was never any problem with drool, actually being knickers theyd add to the whole scene (though I never wore them) plus safety wise I could just spit them out if I needed to.
