You probably read Brandye's.
As a woman, if he is okay with it & long as I am nearing the end...it works out the horniness since 5 days was too long to go without for me...just he's not doing any oral on me...I cannot handle that! No longer have that concern; those cycles ended early for me; has a pro & con to it--no potential pregnancy.

To me? No! Just fixes the intimacy issue! One rule is no trying the first or second day due to feeling miserable. However, I have noticed no difference in the past.

For the man: depending upon the flow being heavy or not, the viscosity can be very different.
For the woman(at least the ones I know about): If you use tampons, then the vaginal walls will probably be irritated and delicate. The extent of the irritation is a function of the duration of your period and how often you must change the tampon. With menstrual cups, there is significantly less irritation. Aside from those physical qualities, the mental side of things can be quite different due to the hormone level, and whether that is good or bad varies from person to person and on different days of the period itself. One of my gf's had 2 days of being easily annoyed prior to her period, 2 days of being extremely emotional with large mood swings over little things, and 2 days of being incredibly turned on all the time and wanting non stop sex. |

I actually enjoy having sex with my wife when she's on her period. To me it's quite slippery than normal. So this makes it feel a bit better for me. I don't know about her though. She seems to enjoy it. Heavy or light, it doesn't matter. We usually just put a towel underneath her, as we don't do any position other than missionary, otherwise, we'd get it everywhere. Afterwards, we usually require a shower, since we're a bit messy.
Hope that helps. |

Hi I'm 17, have had sex plenty of times on my period with my boyfriend.
I enjoy it just as much as any other time. I do not allow him to perform oral either. As long as you are both completely comfortable with eachother, things should go smoothly. I have had sex on a heavy flow day and there was not blood all over the place or anything! The only difference I would say would be that I am not as 'wet' unless it is the blood that is lubricating. It relieves my cramps and it feels just as awesome. As for my boyfriend, he is actually the one that convinced me to having intercourse on my period. Without his persuasion, I do not think I would be having sex on my period. He loves it - it's sex. |

You should just go for it!!
I could almost promise you, that you and your partner will become much more closer and comfortable with eachother. If you do go for it, which I think you should! I would recommend for you to lay on the bottom, there is less chance of blood flowing when you on your back and he is on top. Also, put a towel underneath you.. just in case As always, communication is the key and never do anything you do not want to |

As a man I don't mind at all. Getting my wife aroused enough to be ok with it is usually the limiting factor. It doesn't take much to get me going and by the time I get there, I couldn't care less about any potential mess.
