It feels the same you just have to be prepared to deal with the blood, other than that its business as usual.

I had sex on my period before when it was a semi-medium flow day. I didn't really like it much, since it just got too messy everywhere or my ex was just sloppy at the work. I mean there is that saying that "don't knock something till you try it." Im pretty sure if I tried again and I was super horny on a lighter day, it would feel right and I won't feel disgusted with myself like I did the first time. Everyone have different experiences.

I don't like mess lol, so I tend not too, but I will be honest, it feels SOOOOO much better. I can't think why, all I can guess is that the g-spot and vagaina are swollen maybe, so you get more friction ?

Give it a go.

Sex on period doesn't mean blood (sorry people) will splurt out everywhere, it's quite clean-ish.

My boyfriend doesn't mind making love when I'm on my period, in fact, he's the one that suggested it as the idea of going raw with minimal risk intrigued him.

It IS a messy affair for us at least. We always use a towel and I like to stick around my place when we have sex mid-period because I occasionally DO spray onto the sheet. The feeling for him is awesome; for me, the sensitivity to his penetration is indeed heightened, but I also experience more pain as my walls seem to tighten up during that time for some reason. I mean, seriously, I have to apply ice packs like the first time I ever had sex (which was with him).

Anyway, the "mess" doesn't faze him; he's not easily grossed-out, which is why we can expirement with a ton of other stuff, too.

Going raw with minimal risk?

Meaning no condom?

Panda your post is concerning from a few angles. Bad Cat points out that it is no time to skip the condom. Whilst correct that chances of pregnancy are reduced during your period, the possibility is there. Especially in younger women, ovulation can be more irregular than menstruation.

Secondly, it is not your walls that tighten up. It is more likely that the menstrual juices lack the viscousity of your normal lubrication and allow your entroitus to become abraded. As much as I enjoy menstrual sex, if I had to use ice packs every time, I would do something else.

Yes, no condom. We've both been tested. My period is very regular - I can feel when I'm ovulating and get cramps for a day or two that alternate sides each month. I didn't think that pregnancy was a possibility. Good to know.

You see Panda - humans are far more variable than one might suspect. I have known of women who could only get pregnant while apparently menstruating - odd but true. So it is never a 'safe time' to go without protection.

Think of this as well - is it fair for you to pump yourself full of hormones at some risk to yourself and yet him to not bear his part of the 'safe sex' burden just be cause it feels better?

My wife and I regularly have sex during her period. We either put a towel on the bed or have sex in the shower. Her flow slows down while in the water, and if she does bleed, we are already there to get cleaned up.
