Here's an underrated activity - Kissing 101

Sorry for all the new posts from a newb here, but I'm exited about finding a mature forum where I can talk about this stuff.

Don't underestimate this book - this stuff is HOT. IMO, to make anything else in this forum work, you gotta start here. Reading this book just makes me amazed at the creative possibilities and opens up a lot of exploration. One of the intruiging things for me is the fact that we can do this anywhere, a lot more places than we can (at least legally) get away with sex.

Just wondering if anybody else has checked this book out and wants to compare notes.

I haven't checked out the book, but I agree that people often underrate kissing. There is so much more to kissing than many people realise. I think it is one of the great joys of life.

What is legal and what is respectful are two different things. Sure you may be able to go to the park and shove your tongues down each others throats forever but is that respectful to the parents of the kids who see you????
I see it this way, what if your, or your partners, parents walk by are they going to want to claim you as their child? Or are they going to give you a good telling off and send you on your way.

That's not really what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the versatility the exploring kissing provides. The point you're missing here (and you're not alone, and this is why people need to get the book) is that kissing, like sex, doesn't need to be all about "penetration." It also need not be a sexual prelude. There is so much variety in the kissing repertoire that is light, and playful and expressive and G-rated. There are nose kisses, forehead kisses, eskimo kisses, light kisses to the eyes. It doesn't have to be about "making out."

Then depending on the situation, you can turn up the volume, of course. The versatility is what this book opened my eyes too. What I discovered with my girlfriend is a whole new area of bliss that exists completely above the belt, and above the neck for that matter. Even after we wore ourselves out with sex we kissed for hours.

BTW, I probably posted this thread in the wrong forum. Probably should be a more general topic, if somebody would like to move it.

I must admit, I almost miss kissing more than sex when I am not in a relationship. Orgasms I can sort myself out with, kissing, however... I love my cat, but not in that way.
