Well for one thing because it's HIS favorite. He's quite a tall guy and I'm quite a petite gal and it's easier on him to get at me from this position. It's less strenuous for him. And he says he can see me better and likes that. He also loves anything that involves me on top, whatever the act-he says it's got to do with me taking a little control. Plus, from my perspective, from that position on my knees, I can raise or lower myself depending on how much pressure, how deep, etc I want. And he has better access with his hands to reach various other spots at the same time and get some good combos going.

Yeah I'm no good at 69 I end up letting go of him cuz what he's doing to me just makes it impossible to focus on him. I actually had to force myself to learn to let go so I don't take a death grip on it and hurt him

See, I have the opposite problem during 69 - I just can't focus on my pleasure at all, because I get so focused on him. So, it just doesn't do that much for me.
