i'd also like to point out that half the ppl who dropped their penis digits in this discussion are lying. c'mon guys, you know who you are (and, surprise, so do we).

i'm a student @ John Hopkins university. i have an internship with the anthropology dept. you can trust me on what i'm about to say. we have dozens of years of research involving this. it's just not profitable.

humans have the largest penises of all the primates. the honest average penis size for a human is a few drops over 5 inches. this is from anthropological studies involving the study of sex organs. studies that aren't publicized. y'know? the ones without any outside corporate sponsorship. the ones that aren't paying someone to release the study publically.

so real working class scientists put the average @ a bit over 5 inches for an erect human penis.

however working class scientists aren't the ones who look over all these penis studies everyone talks about.

condom manufacturers will put the average penis size @ 5" to 7" just to comply with the FDA and make their product safe for everyone. but guess what? 7" isn't average. it's more common than one might think. you'll see it alot more than 8", 9", 10" or more obviously. but's it's definitely above average. condom manufacturers just can't afford to have any percent of the public possibly taking their support to a rival company. so these companies run their research and come up with a product that is as "one size fits all" as possible.

then you have crazy sex researchers like Kinsey. this guy will also end up with inflated numbers approaching 7" for the average penis. mostly 'cause the guy was crazy. as are many of those who follow in his footsteps. you must keep in mind his numbers will be skewed 'cause he purposely went out of his way to find men with abnormally large penises. he was fascinated with it. and unfortunately for the general public, many of these anomolies were documted alongside the rest of his research. so when you have 100 ppl with 5" or 6" penises, then you throw in 5 to 10 ppl with 9" or 10" penises, your study gets thrown off in a fairly negative manner.

impartial researchers also pop up and do this kind of research from time to time. these groups are better resources for the truth than sex researchers and condom manufacturers, simply because they have the most down to business methods and goals. walk in there. get an erection. it'll then be measured. end of job. but don't start to think they're not vulnerable to corporate sponsorship either.

then you have the companies selling penis enlargement products. alot of these companies will just come right out and say if your penis isn't 7" or 8" long then you can't please women. who can guess why they would say something like that? yes, that's right! they want you to feel insecure so you buy their product.

when all is said and done, the average human penis is 5" or 6" long and 4" or 5" in girth.

that's what i got from this "Penis Size 101" discussion. now that's not far-fetched. ppl can't lie enough to completely cloud the truth. like one woman on page 1 of this discussion said "Don't lie about your penis size. The woman will see it sooner or later." and that holds true.

as far as length, the chances of there being just as many ppl with 7" penises as there are with 5" penises is not favorable. i would probly slide @ least half of the 7" into the 6" category. then i'd probly slide a few of the 6" down into the 5" category until there are about the same number of 5" as 6" with a few more 6". but keep in mind there were many ppl who said "about" 6" or "about" 7". saying "about" often indicates to take @ least a full inch off.

as far as girth, it looks more accurate. guys aren't as accustomed to lying about girth as they are length since it's often only the length referenced when talking about penis size. 4 members with girths of over 6" might not sound too far fetched, but it really is. a 6" girth is a good bit larger than an empty roll of Charmin. go ahead and pick up an empty roll of toilet paper and tell me if that's your ideal size. the women (who i have not been sexually active with) i've asked have all said that's slightly bigger than their ideal size (most women i've asked have said the same thing that SSSY Jackson said--if they can just wrap their hand around it, it's perfect). the girth of one of those empty toilet paper rolls is approximately 5".

also guys, don't forget that women don't make the best guesstimaters unless they work on Trading Spaces. their ideas of 5" girth and 6" in length are probly a little skewed from the actual sizes (not singling women out, most ppl i find are bad @ guessing measurements, just addressing the guys). if your penis is 5" long and you're having a discussion with a woman about penis size, and she goes on about her x boyfriend having a 7" penis and this and that... don't read too far into it. us guys can fool the measuring tape even when it's in our girlfriend's hands.

i would also like to repeat from earlier that size doesn't matter to women as long as you're good in bed. the reason you hear all the comparisons being between men with 5" penises who are great in bed vs. men with 7" penises who are terrible in bed is not 'cause the women are trying to make you feel better. it's 'cause a man with a 5" penis who is great in bed vs. a man with a 7" penis who is great in bed isn't an easy win for the latter. if you're looking for a relationship it really does come down to the way you treat the woman. so when it comes down to two men who are both good in bed, they wont get the same attention warranting a comparison. as far as the women are concerned, you've got two winners, hypothetically.

which also, i wanted to tell you something about the women who are quoting numbers, for those of you who are 5" long but heard women quoting 7" thru this discussion. don't read too far into that either. they're speaking hypothetically. if penis size were really one of the first questions that came up in the beginning of a relationship, it's probly not slated for success. by the time a woman gets to know you well enough to feel comfortable being sexually active with you (or umm, drunk enough), it's far too late to just cut someone off based on the size of their penis. women will give you a shot. use your opportunity well.

and y'know that what i'm saying (and even what many of the women and Hng Lk A Mouse--who isn't hung like a mouse--were saying) might not be making ppl feel better? ppl might read this and dismiss it and go thru penis thinking they have a small life. or is it go thru life with a small penis? some of you don't know anymore... but... don't go thru life like that. you have no idea how insecure you are. you're insecure to the point where we can reassure you a hundred times over and you will still think negatively about your penis and your sex life. in reality, the generic and simple comments we make to reassure you are dead-honest. they just seem generic 'cause it's the only way to tell the truth most of the time. but you're so insecure you'd do something as silly as to deny and disbelieve the truth behind them and dismiss what we've told you in this discussion.

LOL @ the fake replies on size. On average most men are fine with what they have, but african men or people with african backgrounds tend to have the larger penises, and I do mean much larger. The thing is not in the size of your penis though, it's more in how you use it. What you can't do with your penis, do with your tongue or fingers, and you might even be able to outperform many of the better endowed gentleman, trust me, has happened many times or more. ;-)

P.S. Most women wanting super long penises are full of it. If you cannot accept it in you completely, then you can NOT handle that size penis, so women claiming they like 10 inch penises, etc. are all talk and usually the worst in bed. Where would it go?
