themanonthemoon-- that is all a matter of personal preference. it won't hurt you if that's what you're asking, and it won't hurt her either. a lot of women (myself being one) have an increased sex drive during their periods. be prepared for some blood, mucous, and possible clotting if you are willing to try it though.

as for the rest of the posts, i'll add a quick comment. I have noticed that my tastes vary with menstruation. You may want to try to notice when she's in certain phases and experiment with tastes then. Also, a way to condition yourself to the taste (though i agree about the flavored lubes, honey, whipped cream, showering ideas) is to finger her and then lick your fingers when you're finished. that way, you're not inundated with it but are getting used to it gradually.

Hm, got a question about this topic.

I just think both you and him need to be comfortable enough with each other to do it. If he's worried about you not liking tell him its fine he's most likely not going to be the best at first but you need to take that first step to even get any where with it. Being nervous is part of it. You weren't born with the ability to do oral right, so he just got to learn. Trust me even if he just teases or hints around down there i bet you will enjoy it. So just take it slow and make sure he know you wont be upset with him or get angry. Its going to take time but its plenty worth it.

Oral sex is great, if you are clean then the secretions from a normal healthy vagina shouldn't be disgusting really to anyone. My boyfriend and I really love the taste, he loves going down on me.
