Attractions are encoded into us by genetics and societal influences. There's a number of factors that could affect preference. The first experience might be one of 'em factors.

Back when I was shaving, I would do it about every other day. Worked the best for me. Was easy to do in the shower and didn't take much time but something I didn't want to rush either especially on the scrotum. Currently I am waxing and I like the smoothness that lasts about 2 weeks. Then it starts to grow out and I let it go for another 2 weeks to make sure it is long enough for the wax to work well. Doesn't bother me when it grows out, it seems to be softer. I still shave the scrotum since the wax sometimes pulls too much off the scrotum with the home waxing kit I use.

using and electric shaver prevents nicks and can be done relatively quickly. Itching doesn't really factor for me, it itches more when there's hair down there.

Hmm...Im having issues with shaving...i've been dooing it for about 7 motnhs now and I jst cant get the hang of it!! It's always itchy, sometimes get ingrown hairs, but usually its just little red bumps all over. I never bleed anyore though! Lol. But I cant ever shave it smooth becuase it gets really painful for the next time i shave...I've tried just soap, shaving gel, nair, none makes a big differance. God I feel like such a noob!! I've wanted to start waxing, but the thought of letting my pubes grow out long enough to wax them rather revolts me...Is it a huge turn off to have your pubes grow out long enough to wax them? I think it would be even itchier for me though. Lol all this itchy (I dont have crabs.)

No...let it grow until it's about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch then go have the areas waxed. It does grown in much finer and sparse. AND it does NOT hurt!

Just make sure you have a sharp razor. And shower in hot water, it softens your skins. Put a lot of shoer gel and it should turn out fine. I use that Veet Cream sometimes too which gives even better results but it smells awful

I've had so many problems with shaving/trimming/waxing. I had simmilar problems with shaving, infact i've had what the doctor and beautician both can only guess are ingrown hairs all along both sides of my bikini line for nearly 2 years - some of them are still red and inflamed and some dry out and turn black like scars, it's horrible.
I have always preferred to be either trimmed or shaved as i just feel more comfortable like that but it's becoming increasingly difficult. Whenever i shave, i simply CANNOT get it completely smooth, ive tried all kinds of razors, gels etc and on those occasions when it gets realitvely smooth it grows back within hours and starts to itch like crazy. I've suffered with Psoraisis on my scalp for nearly 3 years now, and in the last few weeks i have now noticed patches in my pubic area, which causes a lot of itching, and flaking which i find disgusting lol so now i don't want to put a razor near it because its sore and similarly i don't want to use any creams on it. and now i feel like i can't get a wax either (even though when i do get a wax, i just get ingrown hairs again). I have been trimming for a while but i'm finding it difficult to..get to certain areas lol i'm so fed up with all this - does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |
