First post, hope it works. Cause I have a great solution for avoiding razor bumps/burn. My friend works for a laser hair- removal doctor told me this a few years ago, and it's worked for everyone I've ever told. After shaving and patting dry just rub your fingers over your deodorant a few times (whatever you use should work) and very lightly apply a bit to where you just shaved.I know it sounds silly, but I haven't had a single bump since doing it. Only thing though is that I find myself going back an hour later or so to rinse it off if somebody's gonna be down there later cause deodorant doesn't have the best of tastes, as I'm sure you can imagine. *Think about it, have you ever had razor burn in your armpits unless it was a dull blade? I swear, deodorant will do the trick. Only a smidgen, not like you need to cake it on. Try and let me know if it works.

Honestly, the Venus vibrating razor. I don't know if its the vibrating razor or what but 1) it doens't cut me as much and 2) seems to get a closer shave.
Although my question on the deodorant one is...do you just rub it on there? |

As for the deodorant... yep, I use a solid and I just rub it on like I do on my under arms. I use a little less and it seems to work just great!
Another tip, Noxzema makes a 'bikini line' razor. It's much narrower then a regular razor, it's about a half inch wide. I don't recommend it for the whole area, but they do work OK for the 'tight' spots. |

To shave or not to shave
Well, if your not sure about shaving and your a guy, just get do a nice neat short trim of the whole area. Girls don't seem to mind this.
In my case, my girlfriend told me that she likes it all shaved off, so it really depends on the person. Just talk to your partner about it. ![]() |
