I am really worried, about 8 weeks ago I had a 'sexual encounter' with someone I don't know very well, we didn't use a condom and only had genital contact for about a minute (he didn't go inside me at all). But, ever since I have been worried I have caught something from him. For the past couple of weeks I have needed to urinate more frequently and for a few days my vagina has itched and i have suffered with low back ache and odd twinges in my abdomin. I have been reading about the signs and symptoms of Chlamydia and have been scaring myself, I don't have any unusual discharge or burning sensation, just the sypmtoms described above. I am scared about seeing the doctor cos im sooo worried about what they might find.
I am a virgin and the guy I was with lives in Portugal, we have contact by phone but its difficult to communicate because of the language barrier.

Please help!!!

Monie's right.
It sounds like you are in the process of giving yourself a good case of a psychological STD. You won't be the first person that's done that. Our minds are powerful.
The cure is the same whether it's in your mind or real.
A doctor
He'll be able to put your mind at ease.
He'll be able to diagnose and treat if it's for real.
If you had enough courage to fool around without protection with someone you don't know very well, going to the doctor should be a piece of cake. Sorry, I know that's harsh, but you need to face your situation.
The best thing I can say to you is to see a doctor immediately. I know its scary, but you have to. Before you get really sick, and before you unknowingly pass it on to another person (that is, if you have something). And please, be more careful next time. Even a little touching can lead to something.
And also, dont stress yourself out. Just see a doc, and do what they say. Hope it works out.
